Pricing and How I Work

It would pain me greatly to try to only do one aspect of the editing process. I can't imagine trying to proof a book while ignoring plot holes or poorly constructed sentences, or to do just a developmental edit and leave in all the obvious typos.
 
So I charge a flat rate that includes a full service of developmental edits, copy edits, and proofing. I do recommend that you hire a second proofer to ensure that someone has their full focus on finding every last typo.

For First Editing Pass:
$.008 per word for the first three individual edits with me. (3 separate books.)
$.01 per word for every book thereafter.

For Second Editing Pass:
$.004 per word for the first three individual edits with me. (3 separate books.)
$.005 per word for every book thereafter.

For Third Editing Pass:
$.002 per word for the first three individual edits with me. (3 separate books.) 
$.0035 per word for every book thereafter.
